Tuch Knives was started by my dad, William Tuch,  in our garage when I was 13 years old. Under the mentorship of Butch Vallotton and Tim Herman, he developed a vast knowledge of automatic and old school art knife making techniques matched by very few other makers.

 

Here we are 20 years later and we've been working side by side for over a decade. In that time I've learned to build everything from high end art knives and lock backs to flippers, liner locks and dual action automatics. We've navigated the patent process, tackled both full and semi production runs, and spent years carving out our niche—developing the skills and connections needed to bring almost any idea to life.
